Here at Digg, we try our best to cover the most important and confounding memes that come across the timeline. But the web is littered with tons of great memes that never quite hit the mainstream and instead just bounce around the weird corners of Twitter or Reddit. Enter our recurring feature, Memes, Ranked.

This week, we've got David Byrne's kooky moves, boy math and everyone's favorite Kevin James photo.

3. David Byrne dancing

The Meme

I personally love David Byrne and the Talking Heads. They're one of my favorite bands, and one of my favorite movies (and my pick for greatest concert film of all time) is Jonathan Demme's brilliant "Stop Making Sense." It features Byrne, the lead singer and frontman of the band, dancing for two straight hours while wearing a suit that grows bigger and bigger throughout the concert.

Footage of him practicing his zany dance moves recently became a meme, possibly spurred by the recent release of "Stop Making Sense" at IMAX for its upcoming 40th anniversary. And man oh man, did people come up with hilarious ways to quote-tweet and caption David Byrne’s wild antics. I could watch that man dance and sing for hours, one of the most underrated musicians and artists of all time. Love him to death.

2. Boy math

The Meme

ICYMI, girl math became a thing recently, and it was a delightful little escape from the everyday mundane. Eventually boys — yes, I’m generalizing — had to ruin it, so lo and behold, boy math was born.

A quick little jab at all the boys who clowned all the girls for doing math. You know it’s gone mainstream when the politicos chime in.

The examples could’ve gotten meaner, and they’re out there, but you get the point.

1. Kevin James

The Meme

Sometimes, there's absolutely no rhyme or reason why a certain photo or phrase has gone viral — some things just resonate with us all on a deep, spiritual level, and the memes blossom in a very beautiful, very natural way. One recent example of this phenomenon is that Kevin James photo.

You know — the one of him in a kitchen, hands in pockets, smirking cheekily. It's doing the rounds on X right now for inexplicable reasons, and I'm loving every second of it. Keep the Kev memes coming.
