3. 'Planet of the Bass' redux

The Meme

For one final hurrah, Kyle Gordon and Audrey Trullinger made a full-length music video of their wildly popular "Planet of the Bass" song, which they even performed live at a recent Jonas Brothers' show. The video saw Trullinger reprise her role as Ms. Bilijana Electronica, which is was what everyone loved, and what became the primary focus of the song's final round of memes.

2. The Holy Trinity

The Meme

As a Jew, I have only heard about the father, the son and the holy spirit. I have not experienced any of them, nor have I studied or prayed to them. But the sentence โ€œYeah Iโ€™m religious, I believe in the Holy Trinityโ€ is a funny premise for a meme where you just get an image of three people or pets or objects that you like, and hey presto, youโ€™re a part of the culture for this week.

1. Scooter Braun rumors

The Meme

Scooter Braun is a music exec and talent manager, perhaps best known for discovering Justin Bieber and having very public beef with Taylor Swift. Up until very recently, Braunโ€™s roster of high-profile clients included major pop stars Demi Lovato and Ariana Grande โ€” but they, along with a handful of other stars, have reportedly parted ways with him.

The reason behind the celebsโ€™ apparent departures is still unclear, which has, of course, set Twitter abuzz with speculation โ€” but users also found time to repurpose a well-known meme template in response to the news.
