Here at Digg, we try our best to cover the most important and confounding memes that come across the timeline. But the web is littered with tons of great memes that never quite hit the mainstream and instead just bounce around the weird corners of Twitter or Reddit. Enter our recurring feature, Memes, Ranked.
This week, we've got fake Mandela effects, silly interior design suggestions, potential castings for Sam Mendes's Beatles movies and creative responses to X's spam bot problem.
4. Sam Mendes's Beatles film casting
The meme
This week, it was announced that British filmmaker Sam Mendes, whose last film was 2022's "Empire of Light," is set to direct four Beatles biopics, each from the perspective of one of the band's four members. With full cooperation from the living members and families of the other Beatles, it's the first time the musicians have granted anyone their full story and music rights.
The announcement post on X was catnip for literally everyone, especially after Variety's excellent bait, which asked followers who should be cast as the rockers. It looks like Beatlemania is going to make a comeback in 2027.

3. New Mandela effects
The Meme
The Mandela Effect, which refers to shared false memories from popular culture, is a strange beast. On one hand, it's fun to see how easily thousands of people can make the same minor mistake. On the other, the topic is a Pandora's box of conspiratorial thinking that we'd prefer to leave closed most of the time.
Thankfully, this new meme is full of people making up entirely fake Mandela Effects for the lulz. That's so much better than "the government is hiding the cornucopia in the Fruit of the Loom logo from us." Just beware of some NSFW tunes.

2. What would you do with this space?
The Meme
A few weeks ago, X was awash with responses to a post about an "inaccessible landing", with people suggesting various (silly) ways the useless spot could be utilized. This time, users are coming up with inventive decor ideas for an oddly shaped alcove in someone's home.

1. ░M░Y░P░ U░S░S░ Y░I░ N░B░I░O ░
The Meme
Twitter (or X, whatever you want to call it) has a bot problem. There are a lot of spam accounts that will follow you and then attempt to lure you into scams with promises of explicit, sexual content. The bot phrase that has become most-memed is "pussy in bio," — often styled as " ░M░Y░P░ U░S░S░ Y░I░ N░B░I░O ░ " — which has evolved into its own thing now, far beyond OnlyFans creators and X bots. Here are some of the best examples of people clowning on the trend.

And if you're hungry for more memes, here's the last edition of "The Week's Best Memes,", which had reactions to Taylor Swift's insistence on traveling by private jet, Travis Kelce screaming and memes based on a confusing Kamala Harris quote.
