Here at Digg, we try our best to cover the most important and confounding memes that come across the timeline. But the web is littered with tons of great memes that never quite hit the mainstream and instead just bounce around the weird corners of Twitter or Reddit. Enter our recurring feature, Memes, Ranked.

This week, we have "Genshin Impact" TikTok dances, reactions to the "Legend of Zelda" movie announcement, House speaker Mike Johnson's bizarre deal with his son and things people would rather do than trust men.

4. 'Genshin Impact' dance

The Meme

Wildly popular free-to-play game "Genshin Impact" has been the source of a number of memes, but this one is the funkiest by far. In the game, the way a character pronounces a certain proper noun has an undeniable rhythm, and people have started shakin' what their mamas gave 'em to it.

The phrase "Oratrice Mecanique d'Analyse Cardinale" probably doesn't mean anything to you, but if you've been scrolling through TikTok in the last week, you'll have seen some well-known folks get in on the fun.

3. Trust men or...

The Meme

The premise of this meme is quite simple: people are listing the various things they would rather do or be than put their trust in a man. Some examples show the alternative being easily achieved — usually as a way of praising a popular celebrity — while others show a desperate, largely unsuccessful attempt to accomplish the alternative to trusting men.

2. The 'Zelda' movie

The Meme

This week, video game designer Shigeru Miyamoto announced out of nowhere that Nintendo and Sony are teaming up to make a "Legend of Zelda" live-action movie. Just randomly did it on X, with no ramp up, in the middle of the night. The way the posts were framed were incredibly odd, as if Zelda's creator just hacked into a computer and took over the Nintendo X account to announce the news.

Not only did the initial post get memed, but so did potential casting for Link and Princess Zelda — and jokes were also made about infamous producer Avi Arad being attached to the project (let's just say he's helped make a lot of bad decisions and leave it at that).

1. Speaker Mike Johnson

The Meme

On November 5, Rolling Stone reported on a resurfaced clip in which newly elected House speaker Mike Johnson says that he and his teenage son monitor each other's porn intake using an "accountability software" called Covenant Eyes. In the video, Johnson tells the interviewer that his 17-year-old son is his "accountability partner," meaning they both get weekly reports on each other's online porn consumption.

This is obviously an extremely bizarre thing to do, let alone publicly admit to, and people online reacted as you might expect.

And if you're hungry for more memes, here's the last edition of "The Week's Best Memes," where we had some wild (and not real) sketches from SBF's trial, this year's kids' candy warnings and some infuriatingly good Halloween costumes.
